Match Report
The 1st team reached their second major final in two years beating Ballinanty Rovers (Limerick) 3-1 in the Munster Junior Cup. Saints always looked in control in the tie with Davy Ryan having his best game for some time. Saints took the lead on 15mins when a free kick by Dennis was headed home by Davy. Davy had another header just wide on 25mins before setting up Seanie Cummins to slot home number two on 27mins.
Saints started the second half well and should have went further ahead with chances falling to Padge and olde Chawkie. Ballinanty were handed a lifeline on 55mins when they converted a penalty but it was Saints that finished the stronger with Hawk ensuring the victory when he made it 3-1 after being set up by olde Chawkie

Match Report
Saints progressed to the semi-final of the Munster Junior Cup with a good 3-2 win away to Waterford Crystal. Saints had the perfect start when on 5mins a shot from Padge from 25yards was deflected over the keeper to open the scoring. Waterford equalised on 13mins when poor marking allowed a header from 12yards. Waterford went 2-1 up on 23mins with a cracking shot from 25yards from their no.2. Saints continued to create some good chances and were unlucky to be behind at half-time.
Saints started well again in the 2nd half and had some good chances squandered through Davy, Dennis and olde Chawkie. Saints did however equalise on 61mins with a well goal by Davy, set up by Hawk. Saints continued to pressurise and got their reward on 82mins when Hawk slotted home the winner. Overall a good team performance with no one really outstanding.

Match Report
Saints progressed to the Qtr final of the Munster Junior Cup, beating Johnville 1-0 at Cooke Park. Saints opened very brightly, playing some good football, but it took 20mins to find the breakthrough when John Walsh nipped in between defender + goalkeeper to slot home. Hawk should have made it two on 22mins when he beat the offside trap but volleyed over.
In the 2nd half Saints should have wrapped up the tie early on but some poor finishing from Hawk + Seanie Cummins saw the score line stay at 1-0. Saints remain on target for a major trophy.

Match Report
Saints progressed to the next round of the Munster Senior Cup with a good 2-0 win over Ballincollig. Saints had the perfect start, scoring after only 2mins. Davy’s pass found Shay, whose 1st time pass found Hawk unmarked in front of goal and he slotted home from 10yards. Ballincollig were unlucky not to equalise on 8min when their No.9 hit the post with a good header. Saints went 2-0 up on 27min when a Padge corner was headed home firmly by Davy at the near post.
Saints 2nd half performance didn’t match the first but did enough to secure victory. Saints always looked dangerous from corners and James was denied by a good save by the keeper as he volley goalwards on 61mins. Saints best chance of the 2nd half came on 84min when Trevor’s cross found Padge unmarked 6yards out but he managed to slice the ball wide.

Match Report
Saints were beaten by 4-0 by Cobh Ramblers in the FAI Senior Cup. The scoreline flattered Cobh a little as Saints had the better of the 1st half. Saints started very bright and had their best half for some time. On 5min Davy’s shot from 20yards went just past the post. On 31min Padge had a good chance when a mistake by the keeper fell to him but his chip was saved by the keeper. James had another good chance on 35min but his turn + shot was well saved by the Cobh keeper.
It was Cobh who took the lead on 25min with their 1st real chance of the game. A corner kick was headed home unchallenged at the near post. Saints went in at half time very unlucky to be 1-0 down.
The 2nd half was a different story as Cobh punished Saints for some poor defending. Cobh went 2-0 ahead on 48min when their winger cut in + beat Kevin from a tight angle. The best goal of the game came from a corner on 68min when the unmarked Cobh centre forward volleyed home an unstoppable shot from 20yards to make it 3-0, which also end the contest. Cobh made it 4-0 on 83min with a quick counter attack as Saints tried to rescue something from the game. Saints produced very few chances in the 2nd half, the best of which fell to Padge with a deflected freekick just wide on 50min and a shot just wide by miggles on 88min.
Overall a disappointing result by Saints, but their 1st half performance is what they need to maintain for the whole 90 minutes. Well done to Cobh and best of luck to them in the rest of the competition.

Saints got back to winning ways with an easy 8-0 win against Two Mile Borris. Saints welcomed back Seanie Cummins from injury and Shay Lynch got a chance to prove himself. Saints got the perfect start when John Walsh volleyed home Padge's free kick in the first minute. Saints went 2-0 up in the 19th min when Padges cross was headed down by Davy for Shay to head home. Seanie Cummins made it 3-0 on 29m
